Vanlig geting (Vespula vulgaris) är en gul och svart 11–16 mm (drottning 17–20 mm, drönare 13–17 mm) lång stekel, tillhörande familjen getingar.Den är Sveriges vanligaste geting och tillsammans med tysk geting (V. germanica) är den även Centraleuropas vanligaste.
